Antonio Conte is already drawing attention after ending his successful spell at Napoli. A Saudi Pro League side are ready to tempt the Italian coach with a massive salary, although his next move is still far from certain.

Conte on Al-Ittihad’s shortlist

Antonio Conte has emerged as a top target for Al-Ittihad, according to “Corriere dello Sport”. The Saudi club are looking for a new head coach after parting ways with Sergio Conceicao.

Conte recently left Napoli after two seasons. His time in Naples was highly successful: he led the team in 91 matches, averaging 1.99 points per game and winning the Serie A title, the Italian Super Cup and finishing as league runner-up.

Despite those results, the cooperation ended at the beginning of June, when Napoli and Conte agreed to terminate the contract by mutual consent.

Saudi club ready to offer €20 million per year

Al-Ittihad want an experienced European coach with a proven winning mentality. Conte fits that profile, which is why the club from Jeddah have placed him high on their list.

The financial terms could be huge. The Saudi side are reportedly prepared to offer the Italian around €20 million per season.

No official proposal has been submitted yet, so the matter remains at the interest stage. Conte also has another idea in mind: he is believed to be considering the possibility of taking charge of the Italian national team.

For now, Al-Ittihad’s interest is serious, but not decisive. Conte is available, his reputation remains strong, and the salary package would be enormous — but the final decision will depend on whether he wants another club job immediately or prefers to wait for a national-team opportunity.
